On Holidays – Cape Leveque
We are taking a short break from MooWoo as we are currently on holiday on the island paradise otherwise known as Cape Leveque. Any orders placed between now and our return on the 17 July, will be shipped on the 18 July. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes when it comes to your gift purchasing and gift giving.
Are you familiar with Cape Leveque? It is really a great place to take a break from a busy schedule or lifestyle as it is hidden away on the most northerly point of the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
One of the most popular past times at Cape Leveque is to do absolutely nothing. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? We have been working very hard behind the MooWoo scenes and are enjoying our well-earned and much needed break.
Of course there is more to do at the inspiring Cape Leveque then just sit around and do nothing – although it is very tempting. You can take walks along the secluded beaches or maybe explore the reef at low-tide. There are even glass-bottom boats which allow you to take in the beautifully coloured fish, pretty coral and extraordinary sea life in the area.
Cape Leveque and the nearby surrounding area is full of aboriginal history and you can join a local guide on a bush tucker tour or even learn about ceremonial spear-making. Try your hand at spear fishing or searching for mud crabs and then dine on your catch or multiple catches of the day against the gorgeous backdrop of this amazing part of the Kimberley region.
It is truly a great place to connect with nature and others around you, don’t you think? And as it is only accessible by air or by four wheel drive from Broome, crowds are few and far between.
While we are busy relaxing and recharging on Cape Leveque, we hope that you find some time to do the same. See you on the 18!
